About Us
The Mother & Daughter Experience
The Mother & Daughter Experience is a nonprofit, 501(C)(3) organization that champions the sacred bond of the mother and daughter relationship.
The mother/daughter relationship is the most complex. We recognize that not everything is a bed of roses. However, we believe that being intentional in pursuit of generational health will only enhance families, build communities, and ultimately heal the world.

Preparing A Fruitful Harvest
Motherhood can be scary but mothering a daughter can be downright terrifying. As mothers, we want our daughters to be the upgraded version of ourselves. We want our daughters to go further than we did and experience more of the good things that life has to offer. However, we quickly learn that the pursuit of “Generational Health” is no easy feat, that we are imperfect mothers with fears, communication problems, and unresolved issues of our own.
Preparing A Fruitful Harvest is a guide to enhancing the mother/ daughter experience as experienced by the author, Autumn Prather. In this book, Prather provides insight on breaking generational cycles, helps mothers destroy the communication barriers that come between mother and daughter, and provides tried and proven ways to plant the seeds of generational blessings in your daughter’s life.

What people are saying
No one truly is prepared for motherhood. It is a journey that one must learn while taking it. Being a mom of beautiful young Queens, I find that Autumn Prather’s book “Preparing A Fruitful Harvest,” is a great start at guiding moms like myself raising daughters. In her book, I found helpful communication tools and was able to see myself in our own narrative of experiences. This book is a great read for all moms needing help learning how to raise a young Queen!

Autumn, thank you so much for being the keynote speaker for our 2nd Annual Youth Voice Conference at Whites Creek High School. On behalf of our program and its participants, it was truly a pleasure to be a part of such an interactive discussion on microaggressions, mental health, and social media etiquette. Under your DNA (Demand Respect, Notice your Mood, Accept yourself) theme, we gained a plethora of new information that is vital to our youth – their wellbeing and future success. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to working with you in the future.

Autumn is a true gem! When called upon to lead a girl’s group at Haynes Middle School, she did so with grace and enthusiasm. Autumn went beyond the call of duty. She was there each week, on time and ready to work. Autumn created a custom lesson plan that was design to meet the unique needs of the girls. She engaged, empowered and enriched their lives through sharing her gift to inspire others to greatness. I was amazed at how the girls blossomed over the weeks spent with Autumn!!!!

Thank you for answering our call to present to our Leaders (our Jack and Jill teen group) and for bringing your unique perspective on how they can reimagine themselves as leaders. A room full of teenagers can be a tough audience. Especially when it is a virtual room. But you have mastered the art - speaking passionately on a subject that they care about and inspiring them to seriously consider the actions they can take now - not just when they reach adulthood - to put themselves in a position to reach their goals. Our teens responded with enthusiastic feedback and thoughtful questions concerning your topic, "Leadership is no C.A.P." In real time, it was apparent that they really appreciated what you were sharing with them.
